This project for the State Library of Queensland’s first 5 forever program involved the creation of twelve free-standing figures, designed to be displayed individually or arranged to create an immersive set for publicity and photo opportunities.

In creating the figures for the display, we remained true to the idiosyncrasies of the original illustrations in the author’s books. Drawing on our signature laser cut fabrication method, the displays featured the central characters of each book rendered larger than life onto plywood, cut with multiple layers to achieve a three dimensional effect.
