When it’s woken from a century-long slumber to find itself utterly alone, a robotic canine companion named ECHO sets out to find it long-lost human.

As it journeys through the wider world, ECHO finds environments that have drastically changed, and is faced with the reality that the biosphere might no longer support organic life.

With the need for companionship hard-wired into its programming, ECHO is forced to confront the reality of its own expansive lifespan, and what it means to find happiness in a post-human world.
