European Honey Bee
The first in a series of insects-wrought-macro, the design for our European Honey Bee was based on extensive anatomical research into these tiny pollinators that was undertaken early in the creation of our Hive Mind sculpture. Recreated in solid brass with etched acrylic wings, our Honey Bee can be prepared for display on a flat surface or rigged with extra fittings to allow for presentation on a roof or vertical surface.
